i am looking to retrofit current vehicles to become electric. need source of motors, controllers and batteries. would super caps supply burst of energy for acceleration?

that is the approach take by afs trinity with theirxh plug in hybrid project. it's not super easy (or everyone would do it) but it is possible. also, it's easier on your batteries.
